Our office is a patient-first dental practice proudly serving the Antioch, Brentwood, Oakley, and Pittsburg communities.
Previously led by Dr. Kannan Komandur, the practice is now under the care of Dr. Ebony Helaire, a general dentist who’s passionate about creating a dental experience that’s comfortable, honest, and personal. After years of working as an associate, Dr. Helaire decided to build the kind of practice where people actually feel at ease going to the dentist, and even enjoy it.

About Dr. Ebony Helaire
Passionate about Your Smile
Raised right here in Antioch, Dr. Helaire has been proudly providing dental care since 2020. Her passion for dentistry started early after getting braces as a teen and experiencing how much her new smile boosted her confidence, she knew she wanted to help others feel that same sense of pride.
Before becoming a dentist, Dr. Helaire spent eight years as a coffee barista. That experience taught her the art of service, connection, and attention to detail, skills that now shape the warm, personal care she provides to every patient. (And yes, she still loves a perfectly crafted cup of coffee, whether made at home or picked up from her favorite local spot!)
Dr. Helaire has also shared her passion for dentistry beyond the office, volunteering in Jamaica and participating in community outreach programs like Lessons in a Lunchbox, where she teaches children the importance of oral health. She stays at the forefront of modern dentistry as a member of SPEAR Education, with a special interest in using the latest technology to deliver high-quality, comfortable care.
When she’s not in the office, you’ll likely find her traveling with her husband, catching a stand-up comedy show, cooking, dancing, or staying active. These are the things that keep her grounded and help her bring her best self to her patients every day.
